AbbVie Scandinavia Early Career - Graduate Program

Looking for a place to start your career?

Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to kick-start your journey from student life to a career in the life science industry? Are you imagining yourself enjoying a life-changing career opportunity, experiencing a range of exciting roles and projects alongside diverse and knowledgeable colleagues in an inclusive and supportive environment?

If so, one of Scandinavia’s best workplaces invites you to join our 2-year Graduate Programme! The program has been designed to develop the next generation of leaders and specialists within our business areas. We want you to come onboard and influence the way we work towards our goal of improving the lives of people affected by disease.

What can you expect?
Starting in August 2022, the The AbbVie Graduate Program offers four individual 6-month placements across areas such as business development, commercial strategy, medical affairs, market access and public affairs. You will work in one of our Scandinavian offices, either Stockholm, Oslo or Copenhagen. Each placement will provide you with extraordinary insights into our business.

We will design the program based on a combination of your personal competencies and the business needs, but certainly your rotations will be stretching, and you will have a steep learning curve. During the rotations you will be included in and drive different projects, and also be part of a collaborative team which will give you both on-the-job experience and specific training.

All throughout the program you will be supported by both friendly, committed and highly competent colleagues who share their knowledge, as well as a designated senior executive mentor and assigned buddies. All dedicated to help you develop the skill set needed for success and to accelerate your career. There will also be other fellow graduates both in our affiliate and in other countries that you can share knowledge, information, and experiences with.

After successfully completing the programme, AbbVie offers a wide range of career opportunities where you will be able to leverage your learning and experiences in a permanent role.

We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package.

We believe that you:

  • will graduate in 2022 or have 1-2 years of working experience
  • have a master’s degree or a PhD in a relevant field, such as Science, Economics, MBA, Engineering, Bio Entrepreneurship, Bio Technology, Industrial Management or Strategy
  • have secondary relevant qualifications obtained through double degree, relevant work experience or extracurricular activities
  • can present above average academic achievements
  • have excellent communication skills and strong analytical skills
  • are flexible, determined, and eager to learn

  • are located in one of the Scandinavian countries and have fluency in English and preferably one Scandinavian language
  • are willing to travel, mainly within the Scandinavian countries
